The Verein zur Erhaltung der Erlöserkirche Potsdam e.V. is no anonymous committee – it is a handful of people from the Brandenburger Vorstadt who have decided to take responsibility for their landmark. Neighbours, parents, committed people. Fifteen individuals who, in their free time, make sure this heritage endures.
Clear Roles
Trust begins with naming your own role honestly.
We pool support for the preservation of the Erlöserkirche – with a focus on the interior. We initiate, motivate, organise events and disclose what happens with every euro.
Decisions about the building are made by the church parish, not the association. We provide impetus and offer advice – without putting ourselves in the place of those who bear responsibility for the building.

Our Approach
We disclose what we do – and what we do not do yet. Where plans are in place and where they are still maturing. This is not a PR strategy but a matter of principle: anyone who supports us should know at all times where their contribution goes. The board meets regularly, discusses openly and decides together which projects come next.
